Panic update

I'll tell you the whole story later, but let me give a quick update on the evacuee preps.

My fire department, along with the street department, police department, Parks, water, health and every other department in the city set up a receiving station for the expected buses (possibly as many as a 100) carrying the expected thousands of evacuees.

A few cars showed up.

Then, 8 buses. Last I heard it was 8. Might have been as much as 12.

Last time we handled so many buses we lost count, and over eleventy billion evacuees.

It looks as though things went well this time.

Last time was a nightmare. I was there. This time sounded as if it went muuuch better.

I hope all you folks on the coast are set and doing well.

Mr Fixit
